Iconic garage rockers The Chesterfield Kings have signed with Little Steven Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records. Psychedelic Sunrise , the band’s new album is scheduled for release on September 18, 2007.
As leaders of the modern garage rock movement, The Chesterfield Kings deliver a sensory experience of psychedelic sight and sound that has earned them legions of fans worldwide. Their latest release Psychedelic Sunrise is no exception. Bursting with twelve original nuggets of mind blowing rock and roll, the album is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed 2003 Mindbending Sounds Of The Chesterfield Kings also available on Wicked Cool Records.
Psychedelic Sunrise was recorded at the band’s Living Eye Recording Studio in Rochester, NY. Band members Andy Babiuk and Greg Provost produced and engineered the disc with Little Steven serving as executive producer. The album was mixed by Ed Stasium, who has engineered and / or produced the Ramones and Mick Jagger to name a few.
