Alabama-based power pop/bubblegum combo the Lolas formed in 1998 around vocalist/guitarist Tim Boykin (ex-Shame Idols), drummer Mark Reynolds, and bassist Walon Smith. They debuted with the Ballerina Breakout LP a year later, and followed it with Silver Dollar Sunday in 2001. Both albums were issued through the indie Jam! Between albums the Lolas did some touring, and recorded a blisteringly faithful version of "Color Me Impressed" for the 2001 Replacements tribute on Facedown entitled Left of the Dial. 2004 saw the release of Something You Oughta Know, again on Jam!. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
2006 saw the release of Doctor Apache and Let's Rock Rave And Shout With on the Japanese label Wizzard In Vinyl.....2007 saw the compilation Like The Sun on Jam....look for new music in 2008. - timmeh

Wizzard folded, so Jam released Like The Sun, which mostly combines tracks from Doctor Apache and Let's Rock, plus some bonus tracks. Before they folded, Wizzard reissued most of the Jam/Lolas albums, with different artwork and bonus tracks, which might be of interest to completists/otaku. Beyond that, with any comps, I have no idea, good luck, happy hunting."
