"Tribal Vision" is a divinely crafted composition of songs, which clearly manifest the Big City Indians scheme to produce a futuristic rendition; by way of hybridizing the great spiritual sounds of the pristine Native American cultures and Natural Worlds, with the mainsprings of contemporary pop, classical rock and blues. Each of the songs relinquish beautiful metaphysical messages of ancient knowledge and their relationship to Mother Earth, over ethnic and paradisaical soundscapes full of tribal beats, heavenly keyboards, grooving guitar riffs, rockin drums and Native American flutes, with powerful enthralling vocals reflecting extreme emotional energy, that is purely music from the soul!
Although, all of the songs consist of strong intertribal sounds holding firmly to the Native American culture; "Walk With The Wind", "Burning Rain" and "Sin of Ignorance" incorporates a touch of classical and southern blues. "Buffalo Thunder" is a combination of contemporary pop and psychedelic with a cosmic feel. "Vision Circle" sounds classical rock with a touch of spanish sounding guitar. Whilst, "Like An Indian", "United" and "While A Shadow Smiles" have more of a traditonal pop-folk essence.
One of the songs I find particularly interesting is "Spirit Path", which words can barely convey the peculiarity and radiance in the mannerism it integrates the lyrics in a romantic native tongue, over delicate ethereal sounding keyboards, Native American flutes and dreamy solo guitar runs, against a surrel ambience that stimulates the envision of elegantly soaring amongst the seagulls above a mystic ocean, with the sound of surging waves crashing onto the dramatic bluffs during a stormless peaceful calm, which produces a mesmerizing spiritual tranquility that is absolutely beautiful!
"Tribal Vision" has been a positive soul touching experience of great pleasure! I highly recommend this CD to those who appreciate the Native American cultures and Natural worlds!
