Many have said that Nick Martin's music is like Johnny Cash meets Neil Young. Nick's songs ring true and his love for his audience is evident.
Nick has been writing, performing, doing session work and producing for many years. After several years in Nashville, Nick moved to New York City.
Nick has worked with many renowned musicians including Nashville super studio stars: Bruce Watkins, Hoot Hester, John Willis, Mike Severs, Sonny Garrish, Hal Rugg, Ronnie Hughes, Rodger Morris, Jerry Kroon, Dennis Wilson, Susan Jacks and Eddie Burton.
Nicks musical interests are quite diverse. He has created a unique sound which is proving widely popular. His interests range from Country to R&B to Folk Rock. In many of his songs you will find all three genres in the same song. Strong harmonies are always present. Circle is an uncomfortable song with a very strong message. Lonesome Time is about a forlorn lover awaiting his execution for killing his lover...or is it? Whiskey Whiskey is the only song that Nick covers. It was written by Tom Ghent and published and licensed by EMI for the Lonesome Time CD. Better Day is about living in the now. Nick hopes you enjoy his songs.
