Sky Saxon (real name Richard Marsh), born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Saxon began his career performing doo-wop influenced pop tunes in the early 60s under the name Little Richie Marsh. After changing his name to Sky Saxon, he began playing with the Electra-Fires and the Soul Rockers before finally starting the legendary psych group The Seeds in 1965.
The Seeds, best known for their hit single "Pushin' Too Hard," released in 1966. Based in Los Angeles, California, their raw and abrasive energy and simple, repetitive lyric came to exemplify the garage style rock of the 1960s.

Sky "Sunlight" Saxon, prior to his death (June 25, 2009), was involved in a number of musical projects including his band King Arthur's Court. King Arthur's Court is a neo-tribal, shamanic, psychedelic musical group that plays with an improvisational style in the same spirit as Ya Ho Wa 13, regarded as one of the best American psychedelic bands. Sky "Sunlight" Saxon formed King Arthur's Court along with other original Ya Ho Wa 13 member Djin Aquarian (guitars). Other band members include Steve Kozyk aka Scones (bass), Aaron Basler aka Aon Slane (keyboards), and Justino Polimeni (percussion).
King Arthur’s Court’s debut album was recorded at The YWHW House of Mt. Shasta in 2005 and released on the Star Peace Records label. King Arthur's Court will be touring the US West Coast in 2008.
